SOLIGOR LANTHANUM EYEPIECES

Observations of stars and planets in unbelievable sharpness, brilliance and contrast is what these new high performance eyepieces stand for. A blend of first class flint glass and lanthanum is used for the production of their elements, resulting in a high refractive index despite low dispersion. Colour fringes reducing sharpness and contrast thus can be avoided. Extraordinary multicoating further increases the light transmission, optimizes sharpness and avoids a loss of contrast due to reflections. Such combination of characteristics is especially of advantage for eyepieces of short focal lengths providing high magnifications and for zoom eyepieces. This is why the SOLIGOR High Performance eyepiece series concentrates on short focal lengths. In addition they are fitted with a 20 mm Long-Eye-Relief as a guarantee for comfortable and strainfree observations even for eyeglass wearers, who will also enjoy the retractable rubber eye-cups.
